HoCo 2018 IMLCA All Stars

HoCo's 2018 team competed in the IMLCA National Cup over the weekend of June 17-18.  Jordan Nalls, Johnny Chaisson, Tyler Nalls, and Jake Peretti were named All Stars.  Tyler Nalls was selected MVP of the All Star game!  Well done guys!

HoCo's 2018, 2019, and 2020 teams competed in the King of the Hill Tournament, which was held June 22-24, 2017, at McDaniel College.  Ten HoCo players were selected to play in the All Star game: Jack McGuire ('20); Tyler Hopkins ('20); Ryan Hawkins ('19); Ricky Fedorchak ('19);  Jordan Nalls ('19); Matthew Hubbard ('19); Garrett McCormick ('19); DeSharn Hebron ('18);  Johnny Chaisson ('18); and Jason Peretti ('18).  Great work and congratulations!  Nalls, Chaisson, and Peretti earned All Stars honors for the second straight tournament!

June 25-26, 2016

Midlothian, VA

Congratulations to the HoCo 2020 Pink, HoCo 2019 Pink, and HoCo 2019 Black teams!  Coach Doughty's 2020 Pink squad won the U15 Division with a 9-2 victory over Battlelax.  Coach Silk's 2019 Pink team went undefeated while sweeping the High School JV Rising Star Division, ending with a 10-5 over Tradition in the final.  Coach Delonga's 2019 Black team also went undefeated for the weekend to take home the crown in the High School JV Division with a 6-4 victory over Stallions Lacrosse.   Coach Hatmaker's 2017 team was also a finalist in the High School Varisty Division and went 4-1 for the tournament.  

HoCo Summer Camp 2017

June 28 - June 30

HoCo's third annual summer instructional camp was held from June 27, 2017 to June 29, 2017. The three day overnight camp, exclusively for HoCo players, took place at Washington College under the direction of Washington College Head Coach Jeff Shirk

HoCo College Recruiting Information Night

October 20, 2016

HoCo Lacrosse hosted a College Recruiting Information Night from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2016, at the Roger Carter Center. HoCo players, parents, and siblings were able to listen, learn, and ask questions about the college recruiting process.  The featured guest speakers were Coaches J.L. Reppert (University of Maryland Men's Lacrosse),  Marc Van Arsdale (Loyola University Maryland Men's Lacrosse), and Jeff Shirk (Washington College Men's Lacrosse).

According to legendary UVA lacrosse coach Dom Starsia, "No matter what some of the club coaches might tell you, the college coaches do not really care what club you play for.  All we care about is, are you good enough."  Click here to read the rest of what Coach Starsia had to say in a (Second) Letter to Parents published in Lacrosse Magazine late last year.


HoCo 2023 - Champs at Trilogy Gettysburg, 6/18/17

Coach Cavey's HoCo 2023 squad beat Burning River 6-4 for the Trilogy Gettysburg Championship!  Great game boys!

2020 Pink Braveheart Video

2020 Pink teammates Bryce Kampert and CAM Miller pulled off an exciting Braveheart victory over the Annapolis Hawks on June 21, 2015.  After some solid defense by Bryce, CAM made a tough save, sprinted the length of the field, made a legendary fake, and fired the ball into the back of the net for the win.  A dog pile ensued.  Check out some pics on this page and the video too!
